Termination Config Question

In the UltraSmartCharger Manager under the NiMh tab of the configuration editor there are a few settings related to how the charger will stop the charge.

One is the Termination Check start with a mV value of 1440. The next is a Inflection check period of 5mA and then a Inflection Divider (Caution!) with a value of 2. The first two settings I think are easily understood but the Inflection Divider isn't so self explanatory. Is there an explanation anywhere of what it does or means and why it would be marked as Caution!?

The default divider value of 2 means that the charger will terminate when the slope of the voltage gets to half the peak slope. You can set it to higher values so that it will stop later on. The maximum value should be 255 which should effectively be equivalent to 0dV termination.

Would a value of 1 or 0 cut off the charge at the "Termination Check Start" value of 1440mv or whatever the value is set to?

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure - it's a while since I wrote that code.

If the configuration tool allows you to do it, I'd suggest trying both options and see what happens!
