Switch and cleaning

I have a 2 batteries charger, non LCD model. The Charging Rate switch (High, Medium, Low) got lose and I lost it..what is the switch model so I can try to get one and solder it back?
And is getting some oxidation in the battery holders, what is the best way/ product to clean it?

Unfortunately, I don't know the model of that switch - sorry. You could either try contacting Paul directly, or have a look on an electronics component web site such as: www.element14.com

The battery contacts shouldn't be oxidizing unless you have managed to where through the chrome layer. Sometimes a bit of gunk can get on to the contacts and I've just used a tissue to wipe it off. If that doesn't work, you could try some rubbing alcohol on a cotton tip and see if that helps...
