Re: Termination Config Question

Would a value of 1 or 0 cut off the charge at the "Termination Check Start" value of 1440mv or whatever the value is set to?

Termination Config Question

In the UltraSmartCharger Manager under the NiMh tab of the configuration editor there are a few settings related to how the charger will stop the charge. One is the Termination Check start with a mV value of 1440. The next is a Inflection check period of 5mA and then a Inflection Divider (Caution!) ...

Re: Eneloops: 5000 cycles and still going...

OK, you can download the program to extract the capacities from the CSV files here: http://www.ultrasmartcharger.com/CSVParser.exe It will automatically read all of the csv files in the current directly and then create an output.csv with just the capacities from each cycle. Mark, this link is not w...

Did the onboard mode and button interface change for the shipping version?

Looking at the QuickStart and UserGuide I'm wondering if the actual shipping v3 charger had any changes to the Mode and button press functionality? The v3 board doesn't have a charging rate switch so that functionality has been removed. What happens when the Mode switch is on "charge mode" and the b...

Re: Charger's hardware / firmware version

Here's what it says for my charger which was purchased and delivered from the Kickstarter project: "Logging Started HW Version 3.01 FW Version 1.000 Compiled Jun 28 2015 Serial # 281" Just note that the kickstarter shipping charger doesn't look like any of the pictures show in the UserGuide or Quick...

Re: Eneloops: 5000 cycles and still going...

Mark, on the graphs you created showing the long term cycle life of eneloop cells, I assume you pulled the ending capacity data from each completed cycle to make the chart, is there an easy way to do that without manually searching and then copy and pasting that data pulled from each completed cycle...

Voltage cut off termination

Mark, in your long cycle life test of the eneloop cells you said you cut off the charge voltage at a fixed 1.44v. Was that a custom setting you wrote for your charger or is there any suggestions on how to approximate a fixed termination voltage cut off with only the 1.0 version of the firmware?

Re: Video

Actually, it could be a micro USB cable that you need - Paul did mention to me previously that he was looking at changing to micro USB. My board don't have it. I've sent a message to Paul via Kickstarter. It should be automatically detected as a COM port. You could try emailing Paul directly, or if...
